Dr. Sheyzeen Dhala, Optometrist

Born and raised in Edmonton, Dr. Sheyzeen Dhala moved to London, Ontario, after graduating high school to pursue her Bachelor of Science degree at Western University.

She then attended the University of Waterloo, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry in 2014. Sheyzeen’s introduction to optometry started when she was diagnosed with myopia and astigmatism at 5-years of age and received her first pair of prescription eyeglasses in Kindergarten.

Dr. Sheyzeen Dhala has extensive experience in primary care optometry and the fields of contact lenses, ocular disease and glaucoma management. She also completed an ocular disease externship in Pinellas Park, Florida, before returning to Canada.

Dr. Dhala has a particular clinical interest in myopia control, multifocal contact lenses and dry eye disease. She believes in a patient-centric approach to practice and is happy to see patients of all ages, as young as 6-months.

As a licensed practitioner with the Alberta College of Optometry, Dr. Dhala is a proud member of both the Canadian Association of Optometrists and the Alberta Association of Optometrists.

When she does not see patients, Dr. Dhala spends her time beauty blogging, dancing, solving jigsaw puzzles or catching up on the Real Housewives' latest episode.
